Trackix is designed so that your workout data primarily stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud. PurposelySimple does not operate its own Trackix server for user accounts, advertising tracking or analytics.
Controller and contact
Trackix is provided by PurposelySimple. Contact: purposelysimple@icloud.com
Data processed by Trackix
- Workout templates, active and completed workouts, exercises, sets, weights, reps, times, notes and workout history.
- App settings, training goals, favorites, custom exercise names, search and correction information for exercise recognition.
- Optional profile information such as height, weight, birthday or weight history if you enter it in the app.
- Optional profile images or exercise images if you use the camera or photo library.
- Optional Apple Health data if you grant permission, for example workouts, heart-rate data and selected profile data.
- Technical status values, local repair data, Live Activity data and Apple Watch state data when needed to run the app.
Storage and iCloud
Trackix stores app data locally on your device. If iCloud is enabled for Trackix, this data may sync through Apple SwiftData/CloudKit with your private iCloud. This sync is provided by Apple. PurposelySimple does not operate a separate server or account system for Trackix.
Workout sharing may also use Apple/iCloud-based features. Data is shared only through your explicit action.
Apple Health
With your permission, Trackix can read data from Apple Health and save completed workouts to Apple Health. You control these permissions in iOS. To delete data from Apple Health, use the Apple Health app or iOS settings. Deleting data in Trackix does not automatically delete Apple Health data.
Camera and photos
Trackix requests camera or photo library access only when you want to add an image to an exercise or profile. Images are stored as part of your app data and may sync through your private iCloud if iCloud sync is enabled.
Local intelligence and suggestions
Trackix may recognize exercises, show suggestions and review workouts. These features use local app data, the exercise library and, where available on your device, local Apple technologies. Trackix does not send workout data to a PurposelySimple server for these features and does not use advertising or analytics SDKs.
No advertising, no tracking
Trackix does not use third-party advertising, advertising tracking, or, as currently implemented, external analytics, crash-reporting or telemetry services operated by PurposelySimple.
In-app purchases
If Trackix offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, payment and transaction processing are handled by Apple App Store and StoreKit. PurposelySimple does not receive full payment details such as credit card numbers.
Deleting data
You can manage data in the app or uninstall the app to remove local app data from the device. iCloud data may be managed through iCloud storage settings or by disabling/deleting app data, depending on your iOS version. Apple Health data is deleted in Apple Health. For privacy requests, contact purposelysimple@icloud.com.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing is based, depending on the feature, on performance of a contract, your consent, legitimate interests in operating the app securely, or compliance with legal obligations.
Children
Trackix is not directed specifically to children. If you believe a child provided personal data without required consent, contact us.
Changes
This privacy policy may be updated when features, data processing or legal requirements change.
